East Ukraine death toll surpasses 6,400 (Video)

The Donbas conflict has already claimed 6,417 lives, according to the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, with over 600 women and girls among the victims.

The Monday announcement by the UNHCHR says at least 15,962 people were wounded in the conflict area over a one-year period, while the actual numbers may be even higher, Ukraine Today reports.

Last Sunday, another three Ukrainian government troops were killed during a militant attack on Ukrainian positions carried out in violation of the Minsk ceasefire agreement signed in February.
