
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he met with banker and politician Sergiy Tigipko.

When asked by journalists whether he was negotiating Tigipko's possible post in government, Zelensky said: "I really conduct interviews with many people, and I have also met with Mr. Tigipko. That's true," according to a video posted by Radio Liberty on Twitter on February 26.

Earlier, a number of Ukrainian media, citing sources in the government, reported on Tigipko's possible appointment as prime minister.
The presidential press service has not responded to an UNIAN request for comment.
