Bulgaria says Minsk truce key to east Ukraine conflict
Bulgaria's President Rosen Plevneliev said during his Kyiv visit that the Minsk peace deal is the solution to eastern Ukrainian conflict, reiterating his country’s support for sanctions against the Kremlin.
“The EU sanctions against Russia are related to the implementation of the Minsk agreements in full,” said Plevneliev following a meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Ukraine Today reported.
Bulgaria has been an EU member since 2007.
