Local residents have hard times moving across the roadblocks, considering potential life threats due to shooting, but they also do not leave hope that the war will end soon, Ukraine Today reports.

At least 6,500 people have been killed in the year of fighting in eastern Ukraine, with tens of thousands of families forced to turn into internal migrants.

The Minsk truce signed this February has been repeatedly violated by the militants, and the fears have been growing lately of a full-scale war breaking out again.
