Russia and IS terrorism top global fears survey
A new Pew survey reveals that, among other major challenges like climate change, Russia's increasingly unpredictable leadership is perceived worldwide as one of the gravest threats.
43% of Americans and 44% of the Poles believe Russia is one of the biggest threats to their countries while in Ukraine, 62% of the respondents chose Vladimir Putin as more parlous than the country’s struggling economy.
Meanwhile, in Russia, the highest-ranking concern of any issue tested earlier is the economy, with 43% fearing that it jeopardizes their well-being, according to Ukraine Today.
Publics in 19 of 40 nations believe that the climate change stands out as their nations’ gravest threat.
