State Property Fund of Ukraine chief Valentyna Semeniuk-Samsonenko met today with representatives of companies that were the potential investors of the Odessa Pre-Port Plant. She apologized to them for canceling the contest on the sale of this enterprise’s control share holding.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, she also called on investors to turn attention to other objects, which are put for sale by the State Property Fund as of today.
“We have small objects, which may be attractive for your investments”, V.Semeniuk-Samsonenko said.
According to her, as of today, 20 companies submitted applications to take part in the contest. Out of them, 8 have already turned to the Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine to obtain a permit to buy the Odessa Pre-Port Plant, and one company, namely Azotservice (Russia), even submitted a mortgage to take part in the contest. According to V.Semeniuk-Samsonenko, these means will be returned to Azotservice.
