And introduce amendments into Constitution
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko hopes that the parliament will introduce amendments into the Constitution next week.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, she claimed this to a news conference in the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday, after a regular session of government.
“I do hope that the next week, amendments into the Constitution will be introduced on basis of the consolidated position of the majority, moreover, the constitutional majority [300 votes out of 450 - UNIAN]”, Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.
She grounded her position referring to the current situation in the country. “At present, it has already become clear for all the country that the constitutional reform is necessary, we need a reform of the judicial power, of force structures, a reform of local governments, and, actually, [we need] a correct distribution of authorities”, she explained.
