On Tuesday evening, for the first time over four months, Yulia Tymoshenko informed President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko that if the situation in the country will not improve, the Prime Minister will not be a partner and an ally of the President any more.

She claimed this on Tuesday at a meeting with electors in Podilskiy district of Kyiv, according to the official web site of the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko.

“They tighten a noose around the government, but such things do not work with me. Because I bear responsibility”, Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.

“When we were freezing at Maydan [the central square of Kyiv, where the Orange Revolution took place], they were signing a Constitution at roundtables behind our backs, as a result of which the Prime Minister has no connection with governors, appointed by the President”, the BYuT leader claimed.

Yulia Tymoshenko pointed out that some Ministers are also not subordinated to the government. “They are appointed somewhere else”, she said.

The BYuT leader added that she has been doing her best to save the democratic coalition, and she is ready to forgive what no other politician would forgive.

Yulia Tymoshenko stressed that the democratic coalition will not be re-formatted.
