DPR leader Zakharchenko praises Putin's aide for help since start of Donbas war
Aide to the President of Russia, Vladislav Surkov, has been helping militants of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) terrorist organization since the very beginning of the war in Donbas, DPR leader Oleksandr Zakharchenko said on UNION TV channel seized by militants.
"I would like to mention one person. From the first days of the acute crisis, which came to our land, from the very first hour, from the very first minute, with all his heart he has been anxious for our people and has been helping in all kinds of issues we have faced. They might have looked naive and childish at the beginning. I would like to thank aide to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladislav Surkov. He is the person with whom we communicate on fundamental and non-fundamental issues," Zakharchenko said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said during his speech at a ceremony of presenting state awards to the families of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes (as those who were killed by snipers on the Maidan are called in Ukraine) that the SBU Security Service of Ukraine had plenty of evidence from Alpha special task force fighters as to the involvement of Putin's aide Surkov in the massacres on the Maidan in February last year, in particular in setting up teams of foreign snipers.
