Broad coalition already works – Tymoshenko’s aide

An informal coalition between the President and the Party of Regions has been existing since long ago. Oleh Medvedev, aide to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, claimed this to Svoboda Slova program at ICTV television.

O.Medvedev believes that a revolution on the scenario of a “broad coalition” is merely taking place in Ukraine.

“Over the last month, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko spent more time with Rinat Akhmetov than with Yulia Tymoshenko. An informal coalition has existed there since long ago; it was not legalized, but it, in fact, it exists. Their only task at present is to legalize the real coalition through different intrigues, so that it be able to form a legal government”, ICTV cites Medvedev as saying.
