President’s Chief of Staff Victor Baloha claims that the Secretariat does not work out any scenario of resignation of the Yulia Tymoshenko’s government.

He said this in an interview with “Korrespondent” magazine, commenting on the respective statement of Interior Minister Yuri Lutsenko.

“We have not been preparing any scenarios here [in the Secretariat] for two years already. These are again some fancies that remind of 50ies. Yuri Vitaliyovych [Lutsenko] should better pity Yulia Volodymyrivna [Tymoshenko] after the [Kyiv] elections, while he just pours oil on the flames by saying that she will be dismissed”, V.Baloha said.

He also believes that the Presidential Secretariat has grounds to criticize the incumbent government. “It is a fair position. Nothing is done secretly, on the quiet. It means that if the Cabinet of Ministers, in an underhand way, without paying customs duties, imported in Ukraine hundreds of thousands tons of meat, which will cause the domestic production to fall, and then wants to legalize this crime against the domestic producer in parliament – should the Secretariat not respond?”, the Chief of Staff noted.

According to V.Baloha, the Secretariat cannot keep calm when the government deliberately pushes out Vanco company from developing the Black Sea Shelf. There are very many other examples when the government created grounds for criticism of the President and his Secretariat, V.Baloha believes.
