Opposition may theoretically raise question about dismissal of government – Tarasyuk

If lawmakers-renegades vote together with the Party of Regions?

Borys Tarasyuk, OU-PSD faction member and chairman of the parliamentary committee for issues of European integration claims that shortly the opposition may raise issue about resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers.

He said this to a press conference today, commenting on the statement of Party of Regions faction member Mykola Azarov that there are enough votes in parliament to dismiss the government.

“Theoretically, this is quite possible”, he said.

At the same time, he stressed the government may be dismissed only if this idea is supported by renegades from the OU-PSD faction.

According to him, if the government will be dismissed, the coalition will have to propose a new candidacy for the post of the Prime Minister. “The question is whether there will be enough of votes”, the lawmakers stressed.
