Abromavicius misses BPP faction meeting
Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius did not attend the meeting of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko (BPP) faction, according to sources from the faction, Ukrainian online newspaper Ukrainska Pravda has reported.
An assistant to Abromavicius said that the minister was on sick leave, reads the report.
The discussion of the situation with Kononenko was not finalized. The meeting was supposed to continue at 12:00 Kyiv time, according to sources.
Yuriy Lutsenko, Ihor Kononenko and Serhiy Leshchenko spoke at a meeting. "Kononenko said that he had only a couple of meetings with Aivaras and was not involved in what he was charged with. Leshchenko, in turn, made the opposite statement," one of the sources said.
