On Monday morning Ukrayinska Pravda Internet-edition journalist Serhiy Leshchenko was taken by force for an interrogation on the case brought on poisoning President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko.
The journalist did not receive in advance any summons for an interrogation appointed namely at 10 a.m. on Monday.
Earlier Serhiy Leshchenko received three summons for interrogation – on Friday, and twice on Saturday.
Investigators, who called Ukrayinska Pravda, stressed the extreme importance of interrogating the journalist on the case.
However, S.Leshchenko could not come to the prosecutor’s office on Friday, as he reported about developments in parliament, which unexpectedly put on agenda a vote of no confidence to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
As for Saturday, Serhiy was busy with covering a session of United Center party.
Most probably, the summons to interrogation is connected with a Leshchenko’s interview with MP David Zhvania, which dealt with poisoning of then-time presidential candidate Victor Yushchenko.
