All active repair works stopped as soon as President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko left the Zakarpattya region in the west of Ukraine.

BYuT faction MP Mykola Tomenko, who is paying a visit to Zakarpattya, said this to an UNIAN correspondent on Wednesday.

“It is necessary to stop these circus performances, when, in a hour after the President leaves disaster-hit territories, representatives of the Emergency Ministry, builders and transport workers disappear leaving two pipes dug in the river and a capsule – the foundation of a future house”, he said.

M. Tomenko noted that, on Wednesday, when he paid visit to Yasynya village of the Rakhivski district with another BYuT MP Oleksandr Kemenyash, he did not see any repair works. “It was a big surprise for us and for local residents too that hundreds of employees of the Emergency Ministry, transport workers and builders disappeared on the next day after the departure of the President. Probably, they followed him to another Oblast”, said the Member of Parliament.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on August 5, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko visited Yasynya village of the Rahivskyi Region of the Zakarpattya Oblast, which suffered from the natural disaster on July 23-27.
