Ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk believes that the activities of the incumbent government have been efficient.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this to a press conference.
L.Kravchuk noted he does not support all actions and decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko, but believes that, under current complicated conditions, the government is the only power that really works efficiently.
Speaking about the main drawbacks in the government’s activities, L.Kravchuk mentioned high inflation, though he explained it with the world economical and food crisis.
According to him, today they made the government a scapegoat, while the others, in particular, the Presidential Secretariat, have been watching, criticizing, advising, without any executive authorities, and, consequently, any responsibility.
