Today President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko will not address the parliament with a speech though he is ready to do that as soon as the Verkhovna Rada resumes a normal working regime.

President’s Press Secretary Iryna Vannikova claimed this to journalists today.

According to her, Victor Yushchenko believes the today’s day will be a test for the parliament’s working ability and the efficiency of the democratic coalition. The President emphasizes that the Verkhovna Rada should give a clear assessment to the developments in Georgia, and the coalition must resume fulfilling the coalition agreement.

“Consequently, the President is ready to deliver a speech in parliament as soon as it begins to operate normally”, I.Vannikova claimed.

According to her, the President expressed a hope that the first day of parliament’s work will not be lost for the country.
