Without any preliminary conditions

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has again turned to President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko with request to resume the democratic coalition without any preliminary conditions.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Yulia Tymoshenko began her press conference today with this statement.

“I’d like to turn to President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko with only one statement. Several days have left till the expiration of the ten days period when the democratic coalition may be destroyed. And today the restoration of the coalition and preservation of the course towards reforms and strengthening democracy is in the hands of the President, who unilaterally, together with his team, quitted the democratic coalition”, Yulia Tymoshenko said.

At the same time, the Prime Minister believes that OU-PSD should return into the coalition without any conditions. “I’m convinced that the President is responsible for everything he promised during his electoral campaign. And, being the head of government and a political force leader, I’m in the democratic coalition, and any conditions, votings in the Verkhovna Rada, or any other actions against me and our team may not force us quit the democratic coalition”, she stressed.

At the same time, Yulia Tymoshenko did not inform whether any contacts are maintained between her and Victor Yushchenko.

“We really hope that the President’s team will put forward an initiative on process of talks”, the head of government noted.
