President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko believes that BYuT and its leader Yulia Tymoshenko will not agree to resume the democratic coalition.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this speaking to residents of Vodyanyky village of the Zolotonoshski district in the Cherkassy Oblast on Friday.

“It’s obvious that the undertakings of BYuT and its leader will not allow them doing that”, the President said. At the same time he did not go into any detail about what exactly undertakings he meant.

The President stressed that to resume the coalition, BYuT must cancel all anti-constitutional laws adopted in the period of September 2-5. “If this is not done, nobody will sit with them at the table of negotiations”, he said.

Victor Yushchenko reiterated his demand to BYuT to express its stance concerning the developments in Georgia. At the same time, the President pointed out that it may be any stance – “tough, moderate, neutral”. But, in his opinion, a democratic force of BYuT cannot stay aside without informing the nation about its position. “It’s not fair to the Ukrainian nation”, the President said.

He vowed to do his best to resume the dialog inside the democratic coalition but expressed a doubt that BYuT will agree.
