Klitschko to continue political activities

Retired WBC world champion Vitaliy Klitschko has no intent to stop his political activities.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this to journalists in Kharkiv today.

The boxer disclosed that he, together with his brother Vladimir, is fulfilling a number of social projects in Ukraine and abroad, and wishes that his country live better and achieve a European level of life.

V.Klitschko stressed that, though he failed to become a Kyiv Mayor at this year’s election, he will fulfill all the promises that he gave to Kyiv residents.

Asked whether he will ballot once again for the post of the Kyiv Mayor, V.Klitschko noted: “I also lost my first fight, but it did not hamper me to become the world champion”.
