The President and the Prime Minister do not talk with each other?

Volodymyr Lytvyn, leader of the eponymous bloc, believes President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko does not want to create a coalition including the Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense Bloc, the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc, and the Lytvyn’s Bloc.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, V.Lytvyn said this to Komsomolskaya Pravda v Ukrayine daily on Monday.

According to V.Lytvyn, “probably, the President does not want to form it”.

He pointed out that “the President and the Prime Minister do not talk with each other”.

V.Lytvyn believes that today the Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is ready make concessions, for instance, the BYuT faction refused to overcome the President’s veto on a number of laws adopted by parliament.

V.Lytvyn believes that today Victor Yushchenko has “a bird in the hand so she does not need two in the bush”.

Besides, V.Lytvyn confirmed that his Bloc’s faction is ready to form the coalition. According to him, 80% of laws had been adopted thanks to the Lytvyn’s Bloc faction, because BYuT and OU-PSD often lacked votes.

According to V.Lytvyn, he met with Yulia Tymoshenko on Saturday and confirmed his readiness to form the “coalition of three”.
