Party of Regions leader Victor Yanukovych claims that his political force will never refuse the idea of giving the second state status to Russian language.

According to the party’s press-service, Victor Yanukovych claimed: “different speculations and distorted facts are spread to persuade people that as if the Party of Regions is ready to postpone consideration of the issue on giving the second state status to the Russian language. These attempts are aimed at developing disbelief in our electors”.

He stressed that the Party of Regions will do everything to adopt the law on the Russian language as a second state one after it receives the constitutional majority in parliament.
