Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych vows, as a Prime Minister, to support the NATO-integrating strategy of Ukraine, but, as a politician – to fulfill the decision of his party.
He disclosed this in an interview to Polish journalists.
“In the sphere of NATO, the Ukrainian strategy is already confirmed. As a Prime Minister, I will support this strategy. Instead of it, as a politician, I will attentively watch the process as a whole, and will fulfill all the decisions, which will be adopted by my party”, “Rzeczpospolita” Polish newspaper cites Victor Yanukovych as saying.
“We should work much over this issue. It is necessary to inform the society. It is also necessary to fulfill joint projects with NATO, so that people feel the collaboration with the Alliance will be advantageous for Ukraine”, he added.
