Tymoshenko calls on lawmakers to show courage

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko calls on parliament to show courage and responsibility, and to pass as a whole the draft law on minimization of the world financial crisis influence upon the Ukrainian economics.

She claimed this opening the Cabinet of Ministers’ session on Thursday.

“I hope the parliament will show courage, responsibility, and wisdom today, and will give Ukraine a chance to protect itself from the world financial crisis”, the Prime Minister stressed.

According to Yulia Tymoshenko, world financial organizations expect that Ukraine will pass anti-crisis legislation and are ready to give financial aid.
