Ukraine not to get NATO MAP in December – Baloha
President’s Chief of Staff is confident
Head of the Ukrainian presidential secretariat Viktor Baloha is confident that Ukraine will not get the NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP) at the December meting of NATO foreign ministers.
"This issue was removed from the agenda, and all of us understand that Ukraine will not get the NATO MAP" Baloha said in an interview with the ICTV channel on Sunday evening.
Speaking about why this decision will not be made, he said there is no consensus of the leading actors.
However, V.Baloha expressed certainty that the issue of Ukraine`s entry to NATO will be resolved in favor of Ukraine in the near future.
He also noted that Ukraine has many other topical challenges "which need to be resolved in order to make public united."
