President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko and Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko have been invited to take part in a special session of the Verkhovna Rada scheduled for Tuesday, December 9.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, 353 MPs out of 435 registered in the session hall voted for this.

In particular, the decision was supported by 148 MPs of the Party of Regions, 146 – of BYuT, 12 – Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense, 27 – Communist Party, and 20 – Lytvyn’s Bloc.

According to top deputy Verkhovna Rada Speaker Oleksander Lavrynovych, the special session of parliament will consider political and economical situation in the country.
