Yushchenko outlines primary task for authorities

President’s Press Secretary Iryna Vannykova informed at her briefing that according to President Victor Yushchenko, in the last week of 2008 the most important is to stabilize economic situation in the state, according to the President`s press-office.

President Yushchenko urged political rivalries to stop debates and to focus on real estimation of macroeconomic indices and elaboration of anti-crisis measures.

“According to the Head of State primary task for today for all the branches of power is adoption of the next year state budget, which necessarily should be well balanced and entail no deficit”, - said Iryna Vannykova.

Another important step, in President’s opinion, is stabilization of currency.
