Lytvyn: Yushchenko and Tymoshenko communicate only through TV
“The Verkhovna Rada should become a center..."
Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn claims that President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko and Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko do not communicate with each other.
He said this in an interview with TVI television on Sunday evening.
According to him, “there are no contacts. They communicate through television”.
V.Lytvyn stressed that all his attempts to bring the President and Prime Minister together, “all my dialogs with the President and Prime Minister for they stop their bad neighbors quarrel, and begin to work out approaches to solving problems” are in vain.
The Speaker stressed that, considering this situation, “the Verkhovna Rada should become a center, provide working out a complex of urgent measures, and supervise over their fulfillment”.
