The opposition leader Yuliya Tymoshenko is not surprised at diversified positions of Our Ukraine (OU) and President Viktor Yushchenko concerning OU transition into the opposition, according to Ukrayinska Pravda.
According to Tymoshenko “for working in the opposition you need not high-sounding words like ‘memorandum’, ‘universal’, or ‘conference’”.
“In the opposition you need to work,” she stressed.
Answering the question if the declarations of the president and Our Ukraine mean that the president does not have control over his political force, Tymoshenko said:
“I think, today the president has no position in the parliament due to his political mistakes.”
“However, we can strengthen these positions. It is a very complicated way, it demands agreed actions, and not flip and flop policy, when nobody knows where Our Ukraine is going,” she added.
She also voiced hope that Our Ukraine would go into the opposition and after the final decision Yuliya Tymoshenko Bloc would coordinate its own actions with OU bloc.
