Mattis brings military equipment for Ukrainian army – Volker
United States Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker has said U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis brought military equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine during his visit to Ukraine on August 23-24.
In an interview with Ukraine's Priamiy TV Channel, Volker said that the defense ministers do not come "empty-handed," therefore Secretary of Defense James Mattis brought certain defense equipment for the Ukrainian army, ZN.UA reported.

The U.S. special envoy also said that Ukraine is not yet ready to join NATO.
