Serhiy Tigipko, president of Swebank Ukraine’s branch and co-chairman of the Council of Investors at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, is finishing his work with the bank, after which he will officially announce about his intent to run for the post of Ukrainian President.
According to TVi television’s press-service, S.Tigipko said this in “Yevgeniy Kiselyov. Naverkhu” program on April 26.
“It is my decision, and I will implement it”, S.Tigipko said about his intent to propose his candidacy for President. “I’m finishing my work with the bank, and immediately after it I will officially announce [about the decision to ballot]”, he noted.
According to the banker, he would really like to influence the situation, and will return to politics to reach that goal.
