Party of Regions MP Vladyslav Lukyanov has accused the parliamentary majority of double standards in their attitude to the behavior of Interior Minister Yuri Lutsenko in the Frankfurt airport.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this during a meeting of the parliament’s Conciliatory Council on Monday.
In response, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn, addressing to V.Lukyanov, said: “Remember the activities of Ministers in your government and how you turned a blind eye to that”.
According to him, “today they have turned the session hall into a stable in the worst meaning of this word: posters, bottles”. He stressed that everything began from “bast shoes, presented to the Head of State”.
“Don’t turn the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine into a pigpen in the worst meaning of this word”, V.Lytvyn stressed.
According to him, if the Party of Regions’ faction wants “to make a principal decision concerning Yuri Lutsenko, let them write a correct resolution”.
The Verkhovna Rada Speaker stressed that the Party of Regions proposes a draft resolution, which stipulates not a dismissal of Yuri Lutsenko but his resignation. V.Lytvyn emphasized that the Party of Regions does not understand the difference between a dismissal and a resignation. He proposed the faction to read again the Law on the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
