Yanukovych says what he thinks about Bohoslovska
Her decision was not any surprise for the party
The decision of Inna Bohoslovska to quit the Party of Regions and propose her candidacy for the post of the Ukrainian President was not any surprise for the party.
According to the statement of Party of Regions leader Victor Yanukovych, posted at the official web site of the party, “recently Inna Hemanivna [Bohoslovska] has many times voiced such opinions. It is her right, which she used, being a member of a party with a real and not artificial democracy”, Victor Yanukovych noted.
At the same time, he expressed a surprise that Inna Bohoslovska issued her statement in the situation when “the Party of Regions faces the task to maximally join its forces to fight against the crisis. The aims, which were announced by I.Bohoslovska in her statement, absolutely coincide with the program of the Party of Regions”, Victor Yanukovych noted.
As UNIAN reported earlier, MP Inna Bohoslovska quit the Party of Regions and announced about her intent to take part in the presidential election. According to her statement, I.Bohoslovska believes that now it is necessary not to look for those guilty with the current situation, but to look for ways to improve it. According to her statement, the President must be responsible namely for strategic issues of domestic and foreign policy, security, human rights and freedoms. I.Bohoslovska recalled that her team outlined a strategy of Ukraine’s development as early as four years ago. Considering the financial crisis, I.Bohoslovska proposes to focus on three values – work, order, and trust.
