Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has commented on the reaction of Russia's authorities to new U.S. sanctions.

"Costs for Russian aggression against Ukraine will only be growing – this is an axiom. And the result of our diplomats' work," he tweeted.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the United States introduced new sanctions against some Russian energy companies and individuals over Russian aggression against Ukraine.
