Tymoshenko increases price for Russian gas transit

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko refutes information about bringing down of transit rate for the natural gas from Russia.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Yu. Tymoshenko said this at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers today.

“The price for Russian gas transit through the territory of Ukraine to Europe will be increased considerably. It will be the first considerably increase for all 18 years – by 65-70% depending on what the oil price will be”, said Yu. Tymoshenko.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine underlined that Ukraine and Russia accurately fulfill the conditions of the contract on delivery and transit of the Russian natural gas.
