Our Ukraine hopes to form coalition with BYT and SPU
Though still mulls prescheduled election
“Our Ukraine” Block hopes to create a coalition with BYT and SPU, though it still considers a variant of a prescheduled election.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Our Ukraine executive committee’s top deputy chief Ihor Zhdanov disclosed this to a news conference today.
I.Zhdanov presented a draft of program principles of the democratic forces coalition activities in the Verkhovna Rada of the fifth convocation. He expressed a hope that these program principles will be accorded and signed by Our Ukraine, BYT, and SPU. He pointed out that the principles base on the President’s program and his annual address to the Verkhovna Rada.
I.Zhdanov expressed a hope that a coalition will be created.
Asked what would happen if BYT refuses from the coalition, as Our Ukraine does not agree for Yulia Tymoshenko’s becoming the Prime Minister, I.Zhdanov stressed that the coalition will be created if its participants will think not about positions. He denied that Our Ukraine negotiates with the Party of Regions.
He disclosed that at present analysts are working out different variants of developments, including the prescheduled election. Though he noted that this is just one of the variants.
