Tymoshenko to apply to Constitutional Court

The government will apply to the Constitutional Court contesting the law on introducing amendments into the state budget for 2009 concerning increasing of the social standards in case of signing it by President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko said this today at the meeting with Ambassadors of G8’s countries, countries of the European Union and representatives of the European Commission in Ukraine.

“If this law on amendments and additions for increasing of the social standards is signed, we will appeal against this law in the Constitutional Court as well”, said Yu. Tymoshenko.
