Yanukovych slams Foreign Minister
“The actions of Tarasyuk are incomprehensible"
Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych claims that Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk did not inform the head of the government about his official visit to the Czech Republic.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Victor Yanukovych claimed this at a press conference in the Cabinet of Ministers.
“The actions of Tarasyuk are incomprehensible from the point of view of right and ethics of relations, as he even did not properly prepare the documents for the visit, and I was not informed about this”, Victor Yanukovych said.
He stressed that the visits of the Minister “with an unclear status hamper the state”. “I have a negative attitude to this, and I’m convinced that this issue will be solved in the nearest future by the Verkhovna Rada”, he added.
The Prime Minister recalled that the government turned to the Verkhovna Rada and the President of Ukraine with a request to solve the question of appointing a new Foreign Minister. “We have not received any answer as yet”, Victor Yanukovych said.
At the same time, the Prime Minister does not rule out that should B.Tarasyuk “observe human principles, he could find his place as a specialist on another post”.
