Ukraine`s 2010 state budget could be adopted by parliament after the upcoming presidential election, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said Wednesday, according to Xinhua.

"I think that you know quite well and see that the budget for 2010 will most likely be adopted after the presidential campaign," Tymoshenko told a Ukrainian forum of railway officers held as part of an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"The competition among candidates for the presidency makes it impossible to gather the necessary number of votes for the draft budget to be adopted," she said.
