Candidate for the post of the President of Ukraine Sergiy Tigipko believed that carrying out of parliamentary election this year “will be benefit for the country”.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this during the news conference in his headquarters in Kyiv today.

Answering the question whether he forecasts carrying out of the parliamentary election, S. Tigipko said: “I would like it take place”. “May be it would give a shake-up to the country, which, in my opinion the presidential election has not given”, he said.

“I will say honestly, I do not wait anything new either from Yulia Tymoshenko or Victor Yanukovych. A reconfiguration of the parliament could accelerate the country. If it takes place, I believe, it will be for the benefit”, he said.
