Candidate for the post of the President of Ukraine, leader of the Party of Regions Victor Yanukovych said that he will lead Ukraine in a European way and resume partnership relations with Russia.
According to the official web site of the Party of Regions, today, speaking with journalists in Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra at celebration of Epiphany, V. Yanukovych said that he will bring Ukraine to Europe as a strong and independent country.
V. Yanukovych also said that in case of his victory at the presidential election, he will resume and restore equal right relations with the Russian Federation.
“The policy of Ukraine will be well-balanced and the national interest will be at the first place”, he said having added: “Ukraine’s European way will be as honest and clear as Epiphany water”.
