Azarov said that he is one of candidates for post of PM

Lawmaker from the Party of Regions Mykola Azarov says that he is one of candidates for the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine in case if Victor Yanukovych wins presidential election. According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this at the news conference in Dnipropetrovsk city today.

According to the words of M. Azarov, in the team of V. Yanukovych there are 5-6 professional and skilful people, who are ready to head the government.

At the same time he refused to name the surnames of candidates for leading positions in the government for “for ethical reasons” and noted that he will recommend lawmaker from the Party of Regions Iryna Akimova for the post of Economics Minister of Ukraine.
