Yushchenko: If there had not been Bandera, there would not be Yanukovych

President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko believes that Victor Yanukovych will not cancel a resolution on conferring the title of Hero of Ukraine to Stepan Bandera, leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN).

According to an UNIAN correspondent, V. Yushchenko said this at the news conference today.

“If there had not been Bandera, there would not be Yanukovych. At least V. Yanukovych would not be elected President of independent Ukraine”, underlined V. Yushchenko.
