BYuT front-runner Yulia Tymoshenko begins a tour in regions under slogan “Big Cleaning”.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, she said this to a news conference in Kyiv today.

According to Yulia Tymoshenko, after the law on the imperative mandate for local councils deputies joined into force, the Ukrainian citizens, parties, and blocks, have received an instrument, which will allow to force local deputies work for the sake of people.

Yulia Tymoshenko disclosed she would begin trips to regions of Ukraine, where she will take part in the work of local councils of different levels. In particular, as early as this week she will visit Cherkassy, and, probably, Vinnytsia.

Yulia Tymoshenko stressed her visits have nothing in common with the all-Ukrainian tour of “People’s Self-Defense” Civil Movement leader Yuri Lutsenko.

The BYuT leader noted her trips would be held under a symbolic slogan “Big Cleaning”. Yulia Tymoshenko stressed that for the first time during the last 15 years, there appeared a unique opportunity to improve the work of local councils deputies.

She is convinced that the mechanism of work of the imperative mandate will become the most effective means of fighting with corruption.

In addition, Yulia Tymoshenko informed that she would invite representatives of other political forces to take part in the visits to regions.
