Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn closed the last, ninth, session of the Verkhovna Rada of the fourth convocation, today.

      According to an UNIAN correspondent, 258 lawmakers were present in the chamber at the last session. Members of the Cabinet of Ministers, headed by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuri Yekhanurov, representatives of different power branches, attended the last session.

      Closing the session, V.Lytvyn expressed an opinion that the legitimacy of the new parliament will be doubtful, as a part of the current parliament refused to destroy the doubts of the society concerning calculating the votes at the elections.
