Electricity cut off in parliament

Electricity was cut off in the Verkhovna Rada today.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, VR top deputy speaker Adam Martyniuk claimed that 15 lawmakers from BYT faction seized the electrical control unit. He stressed that the actions of lawmakers come under criminal responsibility. A.Martyniuk added it is VR that gives consent on instituting criminal proceedings against lawmakers.

Addressing lawmakers, who were in the electrical control unit, he said: “You’d better less listen to your leaders, because the leaders, as always, will remain aside, the leaders will wash their hands of it”. According to A.Martyniuk, the VR building is a strategic object. “I would not recommend you to joke”, he said.
