The factions of Our Ukraine and the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko decided to quit the chamber and not to take part in the plenary sessions of parliament.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, BYuT leader Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this today at the plenary session, after consultations of factions’ leaders at the VR Speaker.

She stressed that during the consultations, opposition representatives set out clear demands to the coalition in order to lead out Ukraine from the deep crisis. “But it was a conversation with the deaf”, Yulia Tymoshenko said.

During the meeting, the VR Speaker and anti-crisis coalition representatives clearly declared that they are not interested in the conditions. Thereby, the opposition leader stressed, at present everything is done to turn the parliament into a “plant for stamping decisions”, necessary only for the team of Prime Minister Victor Yanukovych.

The anti-crisis coalition is also trying to divert the attention from the constitutional crisis, proposing citizens draft laws that will not solve problems, she stressed.

In particular, according to Yulia Tymoshenko, this week the anti-crisis coalition plans to consider draft laws, partly increasing volumes of pensions and salaries, and a draft law concerning communal tariffs.

“They plan to throw a bone, and will pretend as if all problems were solved”, the BYuT leader believes. She added that until the anti-crisis coalition will not pay attention to the opposition’s demands, the factions of BYuT and Our Ukraine will not take part in the plenary sessions of the Verkhovna Rada.
