Victor Yushchenko told reporters in Copenhagen on Friday he would try again to persuade Ukraine’s political leaders to approve Volodymyr Ohryzko as the country’s new foreign minister after his Denmark trip, according to the President`s press-office.

He said he had compromised on the issue with Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych and Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Moroz on March 14.

“We compromised on his candidacy,” he said, insisting that all their agreements must be fulfilled. “Words uttered by politicians become their obligations.”
