Yandex’s employees were prohibited to shoot President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych’s cottage in Crimea to draw a map, according to Levyi Bereg.

Yandex is developing a project in Ukraine analogous to Google Street View. In two-three moths it will be possible to make a virtual trip over Crimea.

Yandex’s specialists traveling by specially equipped bus over Crimea are filming the peninsula.

They face many problems there, as a result of which there will be “white spots” on the virtual map. In particular they were prohibited to take pictures in Sevastopol because there are a lot of military unites there and there is no access to private mansions as well.
