Raisa Bohatyriova, parliamentary majority coordinator and Party of Regions faction leader, calls on President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko and opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko to work together over the national dialog for the sake of the national interest.
This is said in R.Bohatyriova’s statement, forwarded to UNIAN.
“For the period, stipulated by the Constitution, we should hide our battle-axes”, the statement reads.
According to R.Bohatyriova, “the power is just a moment and somebody’s else sweet dream, while our political history is the tablets of the eternity, where all the good deeds are inserted in the interests of the nation”. She calls on the President and the political minority to work together over these “tablets”.
At the same time, R.Bohatyriova stressed that the current statements of united opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko about creating the non-constitutional body of the National Rescue Committee are aimed at overthrowing the constitutional regime, and indicate that the opposition refuses from dialog.
